Andy Minwalla

I was born overseas in Karachi, Pakistan in 1961 into a business family. I learned quickly both the importance of money and to differentiate between monetary wealth and happiness. What I have learned from mine and others’ experiences in life, from traveling worldwide and from the different professional positions I have held is that nothing truly matters but good health and the love of family.

In 1984, after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing from the University of Houston, I joined my father in our family business, auto parts manufacturing. My goal then was to ultimately take over the helm of the business, the country’s largest manufacturer of auto parts. But life is full of twists and turns which are not shown on any map. One turn I made in 1990 led me to this beautiful area I now call home, San Ramon, CA.

Making full use of my skills in finance, sales and marketing, I developed a small practice in the field of life and health insurance. After 10 years, it culminated in my being blessed with new friends and business associates. In keeping with my industrious spirit, I am also part owner of a small food-related business. However, since early 2006, my involvement with Anthony Bilich and his fine group of professionals at Preferred Financial has led me to become a fulltime loan agent, thereby allowing my clients to have access to Preferred Financial’s strength in the mortgage industry.

As a home owner since 1994, I have refinanced my loans with Preferred Financial three times in the last 10 years. Each time, our monthly payments were reduced substantially, always at NO COST.
