My career as a Mortgage Broker started with a promise to myself when I purchased my first home. I did not know anything about mortgage loans at the time and was placed into a negative amortization loan. I was very surprised when I sold the home and found out that I owed more than I paid for it. It was a difficult and expensive lesson for me. I promised myself that I would educate myself on the different types of mortgage loans before purchasing my next home, so that I would not be taken advantage of again. I took several real estate finance classes and felt confident when signing loan papers on my next home purchase.

My goal is to educate my clients so that this never happens to them. I thoroughly explain the type of loan I am providing them. I explain the term, rate and monthly payments. When they are signing their loan documents, I always make sure they understand and are in agreement with what they are signing.
